Requirements for Shipping Human Remains
Government of Ethiopia has regulations for the transport of
human remain to Ethiopia. The regulation requires the following
documents to transport human remains to Ethiopia. Debit
Original Death Certificate
letter from the funeral home showing (certificate)
Embalming by standard (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland,
Non-contagious disease letters issued by the local health
authority and/or other authorized health institutions
that can confirm Ethiopian nationality or Ethiopia organ like
Ethiopian passport (old or new), birth certificate, identity
Certificate of registration or identification (i.e. Personbevis
(Sweden), Folkeregisteret (Denmark), Folkeregister (Norway),
Extract from the Population Information System (Finland), Einstaklingar (Island))
